Smelting enterprises that own closed furnace will produce a large amount of surplus industrial exhaust gas in the process of smelting, including manganese alloy smelting, titanium alloy smelting, nickel alloy smelting and calcium carbide smelting, etc.. After the industrial exhaust gas is being collected, cooled, and purified, it can be used for direct combustion or power generation through internal combustion generator set. Ferro-alloy industrial exhaust gas mainly contains carbon monoxide and hydrogen, below are typical gas composition. 

The large amount of industrial exhaust gas, such as calcium carbide gas, generated in the industrial production process is relatively stable. If these exhaust gases can be effectively utilized, it can reduce energy consumption or high industrial electricity costs for production enterprises. In the current trend of environmental protection, it is also a very good choice. Its electricity can be used for equipment in the factory area, as well as for backup energy storage or office area electricity. At present, small electricity generation is the main focus in power generation. However, with the continuous development of enterprise scale, the amount of exhaust gas generated increases. Industrial Exhaust Gas Generator Set is used for gas exploitation with high hydrogen content and high carbon monoxide content. The genset is fully optimized and design based on the basic genset. Gas genset adopts innovative modular design concept. It is divided into engine, alternator and common base three modules.
The engine adopts double turbocharging and double intake technology, and it is specially designed for hydrogen-containing generator set featuring reliable structure and safety operation. After the optimization of the double turbocharging, higher efficiency enables more efficient turbocharging pressure, so the genset operation power and efficiency will be definately improved. The product has the features of high efficiency, low energy consumption, and low emission, etc.. The genset core control system components are all fully automatized, including Air-Fuel Control System, Speed Regulating System, and Ignition System, etc.. The exhaust gas (FOF) generated during the production of ferroalloys in a submerged arc furnace is mainly composed of CO, as well as a small amount of H2, CO2, etc. Carbon monoxide (CO) gas is formed due to the presence of carbon in the reducing agent. If the reducing agent contains volatile hydrocarbons, hydrogen gas (H2) will be formed. In the past, the exhaust gas from submerged arc furnaces was usually discharged after direct combustion. However, now it can be generated through efficient gas internal combustion engines, while utilizing the heat energy of high-temperature flue gas to efficiently and fully utilize energy.
